What we examine
02Services
Commission a single check or a full review. Each service feeds the same framework, evidence register and report, so the findings fit together.
Compare services and build a scopeA structured review of a counterparty's registration, ownership, people and track record, rated against a written risk framework and backed by an evidence register.
What we examine
What you receive
Bespoke inquiries that reconstruct what happened from primary records: who was involved, how value moved and what the documents actually show.
What we examine
What you receive
We test what people say about themselves against the record, and map the companies and organisations they have been connected to, without treating association as wrongdoing.
What we examine

Multi-year analysis of filed financial statements, with ratios calculated transparently from reported figures and read alongside charges and contingent liabilities.
What we examine

03Methodology
Six stages take a question from scope to report. Select a stage to see what happens, what you receive and the safeguard built into it.
Read the full methodologyAgree the decision being supported, which entities and individuals are in scope, and the jurisdictions and look-back periods that apply.
What happens
You receive
Scope note and target list
Anything excluded from scope is recorded, so it can later be shown as “not assessed” rather than “no risk”.
Collect records from corporate registries, financial filings, courts, regulators, screening sources, media archives and the client.
What happens
You receive
Source log with retrieval dates
Every source is logged with its own date, separate from the date we reviewed it.
Disambiguate names, confirm identifiers, and map ownership, directorships and associations across sources.
What happens
You receive
Verified entity and relationship map
We record associations as context. An association is never treated as evidence of wrongdoing on its own.
Rate each criterion for each target against written thresholds, weighing recency, materiality and how reliable the source is.
What happens
You receive
Risk matrix with rationale for every cell
Each rating carries a written rationale and an analyst note. None are left unexplained.
Link every finding to evidence with stable IDs, source dates and review dates, then have a second analyst review it.
What happens
You receive
Evidence register
Items that cannot be verified are marked as such, rather than being quietly left out.
An executive summary, detailed findings and appendices, delivered as a navigable digital report and a print-ready document.
What happens
You receive
Report and digital dossier
The information cut-off date is stated, as are any changes after it that the report does not reflect.
Agree the decision being supported, which entities and individuals are in scope, and the jurisdictions and look-back periods that apply.
What happens
You receive
Scope note and target list
Anything excluded from scope is recorded, so it can later be shown as “not assessed” rather than “no risk”.
Digital report
The same report a board would read, rebuilt so every rating opens its rationale, every finding opens its evidence, and every table comes from one dataset.

06Evidence standards
A rating is only as useful as the reasoning behind it. Every finding is traceable, dated, and labelled for what it is, including what we couldn't establish.
Debarred by a state public works department (2023–2025)
Rivanta Engineering Services LLP 2
In May 2023 a state public works department debarred Rivanta Engineering Services LLP from tendering for two years after experience certificates submitted in a bid could not be authenticated. The debarment expired in May 2025 and no re-listing was identified. The order does not name individual partners.
Every finding links to evidence records with stable IDs, so any statement can be traced to where it came from.
F-11 → EV-030 · EV-031 · EV-035
Targets, jurisdictions and look-back periods are stated up front and repeated wherever they matter.
Litigation 5 yrs · Media 10 yrs
Source date, review date and information cut-off are recorded separately and never blended.
Source 9 May 2023 · Cut-off 14 Oct 2026

Allegation ≠ outcome
A four-level scale applied against written criteria. “Not assessed” is shown as such, never as “no risk”.

07About
FI-DD is a research practice built around one question: what can be established about a counterparty, and how confidently? Registry research, litigation and regulatory searches, financial analysis, media review and field work come together in a single, traceable view.
We separate what is known from what is alleged, say what we could not check, and show you where every statement comes from, so your decision holds up when someone asks why.
FI-DD stands for Forensic Investigation & Due Diligence: two disciplines, one evidence trail.
Onboarding suppliers, distributors and channel partners, with findings your compliance team can sign off on.
Pre-investment, M&A and lending decisions where the people behind the numbers matter as much as the numbers.
Disputes, internal investigations and regulatory obligations that call for documented, defensible research.
Vetting contractors, grantees and partners against debarment, sanctions and integrity concerns.
08Why FI-DD
Evidence-led research that holds up when someone asks why. Six things that stay true on every engagement.
Every finding links to dated, reviewed source records, so any statement can be checked in a click.
Each finding is labelled as verified fact, allegation, legal outcome or analysis, and never blended together.
Registries, litigation, sanctions, adverse media, financials and site visits come together in a single, linked picture.
6 risk modules and 18 written criteria, applied the same way to every company and person reviewed.
Commission a single check or a full investigation, and choose the depth that matches what's at stake.
A board-ready report where ratings open their reasoning and findings open their evidence, and it still prints cleanly.
